Purpose and Scope of this Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to and any other websites, applications, and online services that post a link to this privacy policy that are owned or controlled by Company (collectively, “Covered Sites”). “Company”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our” mean United Artists Media Group (UAMG, LLC), including its subsidiary and affiliated companies. By visiting or using any of our Covered Sites, you agree to the terms of this privacy policy and you expressly consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your information in accordance with this privacy policy. You also agree to our Terms of Use, which govern your use of the Covered Sites. This privacy only applies to the Covered Sites and does not apply to information collected offline by Company (unless otherwise specified).

Collection of Information

  1. Information You Provide. For the purposes of this policy, “Personally Identifiable Information” is information that we can use to identify or contact you as an individual, and includes your name, email address, address, telephone number and any information that we associate with any of the foregoing. Company may ask you to provide Personally Identifiable Information, billing and payment information, and other information about yourself, such as. demographic information ( zip code, gender or age, for example) and information about your interests and preferences. If we combine this type of information with Personally Identifiable Information, then we will treat the combined information as Personally Identifiable Information under this Privacy Policy.
  2. Information We Collect Automatically. In addition to any Personally Identifiable Information or other information that you choose to submit to the Covered Sites, we and our third-party service providers (including any third-party content, advertising, and analytics providers) may use a variety of technologies that automatically or passively collect certain information about your use of the Covered Sites whenever you visit or interact with the Covered Sites ("Usage Information"). Usage Information may include the referring page that linked you to us (e.g., another web site or a search engine); the pages you visit on our Covered Sites, the web sites you visit after the Covered Site; the ads you see; the ads you click on; other information about the type of web browser, computer, platform, related software and settings you are using; any search terms you have entered on this web site or a referral site; and other web usage activity and data logged by our web servers. Usage Information also includes the IP address or other unique identifier (“Device Identifier”) for any computer, mobile phone, or other device used to access the Covered Site. A Device Identifier is a number that is automatically assigned to your device and our servers identify your device by its Device Identifier. We may use Usage Information for a variety of purposes, including enhancing or otherwise improving the Covered Sites and our products and services. The Usage Information we collect is typically non-identifying, but if we associate it with you as a specific and identifiable person, we treat it as Personally Identifiable Information. The methods used to collect Usage Information may include the following (some of which may also be used to collect Personally Identifiable Information): 
    • Cookies. Company (or our third party service providers) may set and access cookies and similar technologies on your computer. A cookie is a small amount of data (often including a unique identifier) that is sent to your browser from a web site’s computers and stored on your computer’s hard drive. Some of our cookies may be local shared objects, also known as Flash cookies. Cookies may be session cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent cookies (which stay on your computer until you delete them). Company may use cookies for many purposes, including to understand site usage and to improve the content and offerings on our Covered Sites and in other media. We may also use cookies to control the display of ads, to track usage patterns on the sites, to deliver editorial content, to record requests for subscriptions and to personalize information. .       If you don’t want cookies, most web browsers include an option that allows you to not accept them. Deleting, rejecting, disabling or turning off HTTP cookies as described above will not remove Flash cookies.     • GIFs. We may use “clear GIFs” (aka “web beacons” or “pixel tags”) or similar technologies, on the Covered Sites and in our communications with you to enable us to know whether you have visited a web page or received a message. A clear GIF is typically a one-pixel, transparent image (although it can be a visible image as well), located on a web page or in an e-mail or other type of message, which is retrieved from a remote site on the Internet enabling the verification of an individual’s viewing or receipt of a web page or message. A clear gif may enable us to relate your viewing or receipt of a web page or message to other information about you, including your Personally Identifiable Information.
    In addition, we may use a variety of other technologies that collect similar information for security and fraud detection purposes.
  3. How We Respond to “Do Not Track” Signals. Please note that your browser settings may allow you to automatically transmit a “Do Not Track” signal to websites and online services that you visit. There is no consensus among industry participants as to what “Do Not Track” means in this context.   4. Social Networking Features. Functionality on the Covered Sites may permit interactions that you initiate between the Covered Sites and a third-party website or service (“Social Networking Features”). Examples of Social Networking Features include enabling you to “like” or “share” content from a Covered Site to other websites or services or to “like” or “share” our page on a third-party service; to log into your account on a Covered Site using your username and password for a third-party service; and to otherwise connect a Covered Site to a third-party website or service. If you choose to share content or to otherwise post information through the Covered Sites to a third-party site or service, or vice versa, that information may be publicly displayed. Similarly, if you post information on a third-party platform that references Company (for example, by using a Twitter hashtag associated with Company or a Company production in your Tweet), your post may be published on the Covered Sites in accordance with the terms of that third party. Also, both Company and the third party may have access to certain information about you and your use of the Covered Sites and the third-party site or service. In addition, we may receive information about you if other users of a third-party website give us access to their profiles and you are one of their “connections” or information about you is otherwise accessible through your “connections” web page, profile page, or similar page on a social networking or other third-party website or service. The information we collect in connection with Social Networking Features is subject to this Privacy Policy. The information collected and stored by the third party remains subject to the third party’s privacy practices, including whether the third party continues to share information with us, the types of information shared, and your choices with regard to what is visible to others on that third-party website or service. 
  5. Information Third Parties Provide About You. We may receive information about you from third parties. Some of these third parties may provide Personally Identifiable Information about you. For example, if you are on another website and you elect to receive information from Company, that website will forward your contact and other information to us so that we may contact you as requested. We also may supplement the information we collect with outside records from third parties in order to provide you with information, services or goods you have requested, to enhance our ability to serve you, to tailor our content to you and to offer you opportunities to purchase products or services that we believe may be of interest to you. We may combine the information we receive from those other sources with information we collect through the Covered Sites. In those cases, we will apply this Privacy Policy to the combined information.
  6. Community Forums & User Content. The Covered Sites may provide you the opportunity to participate and post content publicly in forums, through interactive features and through other communication functionality ("Community Forums"). You may choose, through such features or otherwise, to submit or post User Content (which means any and all information and content that you submit or post to the Covered Sites, including, without limitation, photos, audio, video, messages, text, files, or other content you provide us and as further described in our Terms of Use). Please note that certain information, such as your name, username and/or state of residence, may be publicly displayed on the Covered Site along with your User Content. Your use of Community Forums is subject to our “Acceptable Use Policy and other provisions of the Covered Site’s Terms of Use. Note that anything you post to a Community Forum is public – others will have access to your User Content and may use it or share it with third parties. Please note that others will have access to User Content and may use that information or share it with third parties. We are not responsible for the actions of third parties and the use of your information and other User Content by such third parties is not subject to the protections of this Privacy Policy. Please see the "User Content" section of our Terms of Use, which contains important information about User Content that you submit to or post on any of the Covered Sites – including a license that you grant to Company and certain other parties in any such User Content. In accordance with that license, please be aware that, if you choose to submit User Content, we may use your User Content (or any excerpt therefrom) in connection with our advertising, marketing, publicity and promotional activities. That means that, among other things, it may be published online or offline (including on the Covered Sites, on television, on or in any recorded version of a Company production that we distribute or any other format currently existing or later developed).

Use of Information

Company may use information collected through the Covered Sites, including your Personally Identifiable Information and Usage Information, to: (1) allow you to utilize the Covered Sites or any features or activities we offer and provide related customer service; (2) tailor content, recommendations, and offers that we display to you on the Covered Sites and elsewhere online; (3) process a transaction you initiate or fulfill an order; (4) provide you with information, products or services that you have requested or agreed to receive or that we otherwise believe will interest you; (5) send you special offers from us or third-party business partners; (6) process your registration with the Covered Sites, including verifying your email address is active and valid; (7) improve the Covered Sites, our products and services and for internal business purposes; (8) contact you with regard to your use of the Covered Sites and, in our discretion, changes to the Covered Sites’ policies; and (9) for purposes disclosed at the time you provide your information, with your consent, or as further described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy.

Disclosure of Your Information

We may share information we collect about you, including Personally Identifiable Information, with third parties.   1. Service Providers. We utilize third party service providers to provide products, services or functions on our behalf (such as sending emails or processing payment) and may share Personally Identifiable Information with such services providers so that they may complete a requested transaction or otherwise to perform these services.
  2. When You Request That We Share Your Information. You may request that we share your information with third parties in a variety of circumstances, such as when you elect to receive information and marketing offers or in the course of using a specific feature or service (for example, when you make a purchase through the Covered Sites with a third party e-commerce partner). You also may also request that we share information about you with a third party through your use of Social Networking Features, third party applications, and similar features.
  3. Administrative & Legal Reasons. We may share your Personally Identifiable Information where (a) we need to protect our legal rights (for example, if we are trying to collect money you owe us); (b) we must comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal or regulatory process, or comply with subpoenas or warrants served on us, or in connection with a legal investigation (including at the request of any governmental authority); or (c) we have reason to believe that someone may be causing injury to someone, interfering with our rights or the rights of our users or the general public, or using our services in violation of a legal or personal right, including our Terms of Use.
  4. Business Transitions. We may share your Personally Identifiable Information in connection with a sale, merger, transfer, exchange, or other disposition (whether of assets, stock, or otherwise, including via bankruptcy) of all or a portion of the business conducted by the Covered Site to which this policy applies (including as part of any due-diligence process preceding such disposition), in which case the acquiring company will possess the Personally Identifiable Information collected by us and will assume the rights and obligations regarding your Personally Identifiable Information as described in this privacy policy.
  5. Sweepstakes, Contests & Promotions. We may offer sweepstakes, contests, and other promotions (any, a "Promotion") that may require registration. By participating in a Promotion, you are agreeing to the official rules that govern that Promotion, which may contain specific requirements of you, including, except where prohibited by law, allowing the sponsor(s) of the Promotion to use your name, voice, likeness or other indicia of persona in advertising or marketing associated with the Promotion. If you choose to enter a Promotion, your Personally Identifiable Information may be disclosed to third parties or the public in connection with the administration of such Promotion, including, without limitation, in connection with winner selection, prize fulfillment, and as required by law or permitted by the Promotion's official rules, such as on a winners list.

Third-Party Analytics Providers, Ad Servers & Similar Third Parties

Company works with (or may in the future work with) network advertisers, ad agencies, analytics service providers and other vendors to provide us with information regarding traffic on the Covered Sites (including pages viewed and the actions taken when visiting the Covered Sites); to serve advertisements on the Covered Sites or to serve our advertisements elsewhere online; and to provide us with information regarding the use of the Covered Sites and the effectiveness of our advertisements. For example, if you click on an advertisement for a Company product, our service provider(s) may be able to tell us the advertisement that you clicked on and where you were viewing the advertisement. Our service providers may collect certain information about your visits to and activity on the Covered Sites and other websites and services and may use this information to target advertising to you.

These service providers may set and access their own tracking technologies on your device (including cookies and GIFs) and may otherwise collect or have access to information about you. Some of these parties may collect Personally Identifiable Information over time when you visit the Covered Sites or other online websites and services. Cookies and GIFs, including those set by third-party network advertisers, may be used to (among other things): target advertisements, prevent you from seeing the same advertisements too many times, and conduct research regarding the usefulness of certain advertisements to you. We may share Usage Information about visitors with third-party advertising companies, analytics providers and other vendors for similar purposes.

While we may use a variety of service providers to perform advertising services, some of these companies are members of the Network Advertising Initiative ("NAI”) or the Digital Advertising Alliance ("DAA") Self-Regulatory Program for Online Behavioral Advertising. Right to Opt-out

  1. Sharing with Third Parties: As disclosed above, we may share Personally Identifiable Information with third parties for their marketing purposes. If you want us to stop further sharing of your Personally Identifiable Information with third parties for those parties’ direct marketing purposes, you may notify us by sending an email to Please use “Opt-Out” in the subject of your email and provide your full name and the email address(es) associated with your account on the Covered Sites so that we can process your request. Note that even if you opt-out, we will still share non-Personally Identifiable Information in our discretion and your Personally Identifiable Information with your consent and as disclosed in this Privacy Policy.
  2. Mobile. We may provide you messages, including marketing, via your wireless email-to-text address or by short-message or multimedia-message service (“SMS Service”),as described below. You may opt-out of these messages from us by replying “STOP” or following the instructions provided in the message. In addition, digital applications may provide you alerts and you can change your preferences regarding these alerts through your device settings.
  3. Marketing emails provided by Company. From time to time we may send you promotional emails on behalf of Company or third parties. If you want us to stop sending you promotional emails, you may follow the unsubscribe instructions in the email. Please note that we reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to your account, your use of the Covered Sites, or as otherwise permitted by applicable law, and these transactional account messages and other non-commercial messages may not be affected by your choice to opt out from commercial communications.

Security of Your Personally Identifiable Information

We may require you to enter a password to access your account. Please do not disclose your registration password to unauthorized people. You are responsible for all access to and use of your account, whether or not authorized.

We use a variety of commercially reasonable security technologies and procedures to help protect your Personally Identifiable Information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while Company uses reasonable efforts to protect your Personally Identifiable Information, Company cannot guarantee its security. You use the Covered Sites and provide us with information on your own initiative and at your own risk. 

Third-Party Content & Links to Other Sites

Certain content on the Covered Sites may be hosted and served by third parties. For example, some of our Covered Sites may from time to time partner with a retailer or other third party to offer online shopping opportunities and other features on a co-branded or cross-promotional basis. In addition, the Site may contain links to third-party websites that we do not control. Company is not responsible for the privacy practices employed by any third party.

Kids And Parents

The Covered Sites are not intended for use by children younger than age 13 and the Covered Sites do not knowingly collect personal information from such children. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected personal information from anyone younger than the age of 13, we will delete that information from our active databases.

Non-U.S. Users: Consent to Transfer

If you are located outside of the United States, please note that the information you provide to us will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where laws regarding processing of Personally Identifiable Information may be less stringent than the laws in your country. By using this Covered Site, you consent to this transfer and processing.

California Residents - Your California Privacy Rights

Pursuant to California Civil Code Section 1798.83, residents of the State of California have the right to request from companies conducting business in California certain information relating to third parties to which the company has disclosed certain categories of personal information during the preceding year for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes. Alternatively, the law provides that a company may comply, as Company does, by disclosing in its privacy policy that it provides consumers choice (opt-out or opt-in) regarding sharing personal information with third parties for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes, and information on how to exercise that choice. As stated above in this Privacy Policy, Company does not share your Personally Identifiable Information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes when you have asked us not to. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This privacy policy is subject to revision, and if we make any material changes in the way we use your Personally Identifiable Information, we will prominently post notice of the changes on our Covered Sites. We may also, in our discretion, contact you through your email address or other contact information you have provided to us. Any changes to this privacy policy will be effective upon posting of the updated policy or as otherwise specified therein.. Continued use of our Covered Sites, following the effective date of the new policy shall indicate your acknowledgement of such changes and agreement to be bound by the terms and conditions of such revised privacy policy.
